Import a bank statement into your budget
Upload a statement from any bank, in any country and any currency, and Auritrack turns it into clean books. The AI reads every transaction, creates the account or finds the one you already have, puts each line in a category and skips anything it has already seen. It is the quickest way to bring months of history into a budget, whether or not your bank can be connected.
How statement import works
Export your statement
Download a statement from your bank's app or website as a PDF, CSV or Excel file. Any bank, any country.
Upload it to Auritrack
Upload the file on web or mobile. The AI reads every page and pulls out each transaction with its date, amount and currency.
Review your books
Auritrack creates the account or matches an existing one, sorts every transaction into a category and skips anything already imported.
Works with every bank, in every country
There is no list of supported banks for statement upload. If your bank gives you a PDF, CSV or Excel statement, Auritrack can read it. That covers local banks, digital banks, credit cards and accounts in countries where no budgeting app connects directly.
The account builds itself
The first upload creates the account. Later statements from the same account land in it.
Every transaction categorised
Cryptic merchant descriptions are cleaned up and each transaction gets a category.
Transfers paired
Money moved between two of your own accounts is paired and left out of income and spending.
Subscriptions spotted
Repeating charges in your history are picked out for you to confirm or dismiss.
Statements and bank sync never double-count
On the Premium plan you can also connect a bank so new transactions arrive on their own. You can connect banks in the US and Canada through Plaid, and in Nigeria through Mono, plus selected banks in Ghana, Kenya and South Africa. Statements and bank sync check against each other, in both directions. Upload a year of history from a statement, connect the bank afterwards, and the overlap is skipped. The same matching covers anything you logged by chat. See how bank connections work or the full list of supported countries.
Statements in more than one currency
A dollar statement stays in dollars and a naira statement stays in naira. Each transaction keeps the currency it happened in, and totals are shown per currency with your preferred one first. Read more about the multi-currency budget app.
See what a statement says before you sign up
The free Spending Analyzer reads one page of a bank statement and shows where the money went, with no signup. When you want the whole statement, and next month's too, save the analysis to start your account and upload full statements in Auritrack.
